Our Health Care Complex

Our health care complex consists of four independent “Not-For-Profit” corporations.

  • Lutheran Good Shepherd Home

  • Lutheran Nursing Home

  • Good Shepherd Village I

  • Good Shepherd Village II

Because we are “Not-For-Profit” corporations and have no owners or share holders, we are able to keep our rates as low and reasonable as possible. Accommodations and services are available to all individuals, without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, handicap, disability, and religious or political belief.

Our Board of Directors, nine in total, provide their time, for which there is no reimbursement to assist with the operations and control of the facilities.

Within our facility we have two Chapels, one in the Skilled Nursing Area and one in the Assisted Living – Retirement Area. The Chapels are used by all denominations or congregations as represented by the residents who reside within the facility. Worship services are held numerous times each week.

Good Shepherd Care Community see its residents as family. We are a community within a community that truly cares about the health and well being of everyone we serve.
